My last month wasn’t quite as busy as the month before, but still keeping active and I’ve hosted THREE open houses in the last four weeks! My Favorite Listing of the last month: if you have been following my social media in anyway, you know that I was going to be GUSHING over this amazing property in this month’s email. Situated on 4th Avenue in Fernie, wonderfully close to the river AND downtown – this BEAUTIFUL home CANNOT be beat. I’ve had the pleasure of touring it, hosting an open house at it AND showing it to some clients – I feel like I should probably just move in 😉 I could write my entire piece on this home alone! 3 bedrooms (with a flex room that could absolutely be a fourth bedroom), 2 bathrooms – this home has been restored and renovated and couldn’t be more amazing. The HIGH ceilings, the ENORMOUS windows, the TOWER!?!?!?!? I just can’t get over this home, I am MADLY in love with it. I must stop writing about it now before you just X out and unsubscribe. This TREASURE of a property is listed at $1,180,000 and is like nothing else on the market right now.

Best Value – This nicely renovated condo in Ridgemont is priced to sell. The strata covers Heat & Hot water (plus all the “regular” strata coverages – snow removal, trash, etc) for only $267/month. The home has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and is listed at $399,900. I don’t expect it to stay on the market long.

A lot that I would love to bring to your attention (my husband and I looked at this one years ago) is tucked behind Slalom Drive. It’s listed at $169,000. ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-NINE THOUSAND DOLLARS – IN FERNIE!!!!!!! This lot is meant for someone with some real determination, but the right person with the perseverance for the job is going to be VERY HAPPY WITH THEMSELVES when they’ve completed the mission. It’s in a great spot, I’ve walked the lot lines myself, and it has some amazing views – it’s just going to take a little work to make it all happen.

The Highest Priced Listing on the market in the last month is this 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom home at the Ski Hill. The part I can’t get enough of? PIZZA OVEN!!!!! 😊 It is listed at $1,850,000. All those amazing windows – I imagine you must feel like you’re right in amongst the trees, yet still warm and cozy inside. It has a suite in the basement as well. A great mortgage helper, without a doubt.

The Lowest Priced Listing on the market in the last month is a 1-bedroom unit in the Mountain Air Chalets in Sparwood (I’ve excluded vacant land when choosing the “lowest priced listing” FYI). The Strata fees include heat & hot water – BONUS. It’s currently being rented for $825/month and is listed at $79,900. This until would be great for someone in the valley for work or as an investment property, and although not mentioned in the listing, it looks like it has a deck (not all of them do, in these units).
