Yay for Spring!
Yes there’s still falling snow, and temperatures below zero, but I’m calling this SPRING – and I’m THRILLED to have it here!  Spring is a great time for the Real Estate Market.  Things start to heat up, people are ready to start thinking about big changes and new beginnings.  I love it all.
I’m excited to share with you what’s new to the market in the last 30 days – here we go!
My Favorite Listing of the last month – This property was listed in the spring/summer, came off the market, and now it’s back.  I’ve had the pleasure of touring it and dreaming about living here 😉  It has a large 2 bedroom suite above the garage with a long term tenant.  Listed at $2,490,000 this home is a beauty.

Best Value – I can’t get enough of this place.  I had the honor of hosting an open house here a couple of weekends ago – SUCH a great home!  So well taken care of and updated.  The HUGE family room/play room on the lower level would be SUCH an asset to a family with kids of any age, and the fireplace down there makes it so cozy and inviting.  The pictures are great, but just don’t do it justice and you MUST see the inside to get a feel for how fantastic this house is.  3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and close to EVERYTHING.

A lot that I would love to bring to your attention is 8 Silver Springs Crossing.  The views are to die for.  Dave and I looked out here before buying our house in Fernie and had a tough time imagining living on a hillside, but now that I’ve seen some of the great builds out there, I think it’s an AMAZING location.  Elko has the small town community feel that I miss about Fernie – what a great place to live.

The Highest Priced Listing on the market in the last month is this 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom home on 4+ acres just outside of Fernie (but not too far!).  This home boasts a two bedroom suite – and MY personal favorites: a FINISHED laundry room (how I would love a laundry room with a counter above my washer and dryer 😉 ), TWO ovens and a fireplace in the bedroom!  LOVE IT ALL!!  This home is listed at $2,600,000 and I would LOVE to take you for a look.  Let’s go!

The Lowest Priced Listing on the market in the last month is a 3 bedroom mobile in Sparwood (I’ve excluded vacant land when choosing the “lowest priced listing” FYI).  This until would be great for someone in the valley for work or as an investment property, listed at just $99,000 (you don’t own the land, just the mobile).
